About the Craft Learning Centre
Ever since Leanne Siegert first learnt how to use a sewing machine at the age of 10 years, she has held the vision of one day creating a place where people could come together in a creative environment & share a unique experience.
Leanne’s unique teaching style developed from her focus on creating a sense of fulfilment & happiness with her students. ‘It’s all about the feelings!’ Great teaching is all about having a strong set of values, such as happiness, love, giving, creativity, fun & passion!
Since moving to Bathurst in 1997, Leanne has successfully operated a home-based business teaching patchwork & quilting. With her extensive background in the fabric retail industry and over 12 years experience in patchwork & quilting, Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge to the business & will be supported by a team of highly skilled & multi talented tutors.
Initially the Craft Learning Centre will be focusing on patchwork, quilting, knitting, crochet & cross-stitch, to name a few. Leanne commented ‘it is wonderful to see such a high level of interest in traditional crafts.’
The concept is proving to be a real winner with both students & teachers saying ‘this is exactly what Bathurst needs!’
Apart from regular classes each week, Craft Learning Centre will offer workshops, theme days & many different displays & demonstrations. To view up comming events view our Newsletter page.
The Craft Learning Centre is located at Shop 8 & 9, George Street Plaza Bathurst. Phone: 6332 2550
