A little about Leanne Siegert

Leanne found her way into patchwork about 12 years ago while living in the southcoast town of Bermagui.

Now living in the city of Bathurst, with husband Chris & 3 sons, Tom, Andrew & James, Leanne began creating her own designs in 1997 & Farmgate Cottage came to life.

Drawing on familiar country images such as scarecrows, chooks, cows & gardening images, Leanne's inspirations come from a variety of influences around her.

Encouraged by a group of friends that used to meet at Leanne's home for craft mornings, ladies began to ask for help & instructions on making up their projects. Needless to say Farmgate Cottage classes were born!

Leanne tutors students in many different areas of patchwork & quilting. She has regular weekly classes & also runs workshops on specific projects & designs.
